Why Go Green?

Your choice in a Limousine or Party Bus makes a difference.

Earth Buses of Las Vegas believes if we each do a little, we’ll together do a lot to save energy, save money and save the planet.  That’s why our entire luxury limousine fleet is run on biodiesel.  We’re producing ultra-low emissions to do our part in going green, to insure we have a healthy planet to pass onto future generations.
Here’s some information about why we’re green, and some ideas on how you can go green too:

Biodiesel - say good-bye to big time emissions. The use of biodiesel in a conventional diesel engine results in a substantial reduction of unburned hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide, compared to emissions from diesel fuel.

Just say NO to smog. The overall smog-forming potential of exhaust emissions from biodiesel is nearly 50 percent less than that measured for diesel fuel.

Biodiesel contributes jobs to local economies. Studies estimate that 100 million gallons of biodiesel production could generate more than an $8 million increase in personal income, and over 6,000 temporary or permanent jobs for a metropolitan region.

Biodiesel is easy. Biodiesel is the only alternative fuel that runs in any conventional, unmodified diesel engine.  It can be stored anywhere that petroleum diesel fuel is stored.  Biodiesel can also extend the life of diesel engines because it’s more lubricating than petroleum diesel fuel.

What We All Can Do:

It doesn’t take a lot to save energy, save resources and save money. Here are a few ideas:

Save Water. Take shorter showers to reduce water use, and consider installing a low-flow showerhead.   This lowers your water and heating bills.

Less Gas = More Money. Walk or bike to work, to meet your friends, or to the grocery store.

Make Your Own Cleaning Supplies. All you need are a few simple ingredients like baking soda, vinegar, lemon and soap.   Making your own cleaning products saves money, time and packaging.

Skip the Bottled Water. Bottled water is expensive and generates significant amounts of container waste.  Instead, use a reusable water bottle.  (information from the Worldwatch Institute www.Worldwatch.org)
